Many people have things that they do to defrag from life, for me that something is cakes.
It all started about 7 years ago when I found out I was pregnant with my 4th child. I was overwhelmed and worried about how I could handle one more kid because 3 was already a lot of work. My mom, with her all-knowing mom powers, knew what I needed, a break, so as a gift she bought me Wilton Cake Classes at our local Joanne Fabric store. It was terrific because it got me out of the house for a couple of hours every week and it gave me an outlet for my art. Back in high school I was an art major and focused on sculpting and painting, I soon learned that cake, frosting and fondant are wonderful sculpture mediums!
I do not actively market my cake business any more I still take orders occasionally and I realized I no longer had a place to send people to see past cakes that I have done. So without further ado, here are some of my cakes!
Love the cakes Cheyenne! Since you no longer take orders is there anyone you can recommend? I need a cake done for my husbands graduation.
Thanks, Kim
